PT CROWN Resources was established in Jakarta as an exporter of coal and nickel as well as a private investment company which specialized in joint venture, funder, off take of various coal and nickel ore mining sites in Indonesia. With the financial support, close collaboration and understanding between PT CROWN Resources and some mining companies, as well as the support from loyal end buyers in Asian Region, PT CROWN Resources has become one of the active players in Indonesia and Philippines.
Majority of the exported coals are pure, non blended products, and originated from single mine, or even single pit or single seam. Most of coal mining operators, whom PT CROWN Resources have long term contract with, are self sufficient coal mining companies, whom have own heavy equipments, trucking, barging as well as own hauling road, own jetty or own floating cranes, spreading from East Kalimantan to South Kalimantan, as well as Riau Province to South Sumatra Province. Ranges of calorific values are starting from low CV coals, GCV 5300 kcal / kg (adb basis) up to GCV 6300 kcal / kg (adb basis), either in vessel basis or barge basis, depends on destination. Contract can either be signed in GCV adb basis, GCV arb basis and for some coals, in NCV arb basis, typically for some Chinese Customers.
With the support of ‘in house’ full operational team and quality control management, PT CROWN Resources is able to make sure the delivered coal and nickel ore to be within the contract parameters and according to the request of each individual end buyer.
Similar philosophy and working Standard Operation Procedures are applied for the shipment of nickel ore, either ex Sulawesi Indonesia or Philippines. With the assistance of several expertises, thus PT CROWN Resources is able to fulfill the demand of every requirement from end use, by method of quality checking of the nickel ore at mining site, stockpile and during actual loading process to barges and mother vessels.
Based on the long term good relationship with some end users in Asia, for both coal and nickel ore, therefore currently PT CROWN Resources are working together in partnership with few overseas partners, in securing or taking over few mining sites in Kalimantan, Sumatra and Sulawesi for a J/V or off take agreement for the long term commitment of supply to overseas end users. In this regards, PT CROWN Resources, together with its sister companies and representative companies in Singapore, Korea, Philippines, China and Thailand is able to provide a guarantee of long term supply stability, for many years to come.
